Hard work, perseverance, and charisma are the foundation of 22Canelo’s artistic identity. With ample dedication and raw individuality, Bay Area-born Angelo Castillo spent his early childhood refining and growing his musicality. Being the youngest of 6 siblings, he had to push through the mold and show who he can be beside the crowd. Growing up in a small city just outside of San Francisco, 22Canelo knew what it would take to become one with the people, and that is where his love for music grew. 22Canelo became known in early 2016 for his first mixtape, The Seventh Son. Still young, he spent the next couple of years honing his craft; ultimately releasing carefully curated singles such as: “Andale”, “Dimepiece”, and “Done Up”.  22Canelo brings expressive, spirited, and evocative energies to the studio and plans to only achieve greater heights.
